YAY I'M ON HOLIDAY!
Alex seems excessively happy about being on his first holiday.

Yes, we all decided to brave it and went for a 4 night stay at Center Parcs in Nottingham forest.

It was great fun for the kids, but VERY hard work for me and Maxine...

Let's face it, we all remember our mom and dad buying us some item of new clothing for our holiday...

We decided to buy Chris this new wizards robe! (or at least, that's what we told him, it's really one of my old t-shirts!)

I don't know where he gets it from, but he's a whiz with working electronics and pressing buttons...here he says "crumbs Dad, all you have to do is press THIS button, anyone knows THAT!"














Alex checks out the holiday villa
While Maxine and I slept as snug as bugs in a rug in our nice villa, we convinced Alex that this was where he had to sleep...

He didn't seem to mind though...

Chris gets to work on the new diamond mine I told him to start digging...well, these kids have to pay their way you know!

Somehow, don't ask me how, Alex got in the cage with this strange species of monkey...

Thankfully, he got out alive!

Alex & Chris go to Dudley Zoo
The lads went to Dudley Zoo with their mom, aunty, nanny and cousins.

Chris decided he really liked penguins that day...he had to be dragged away from them! (Maxine says she checked inside his jacket to make sure he hadn't taken one!).
