In a mess

It's been a while since I found it necessary to post pics of one or other (or sometimes both) of the boys with food all over them, but just for old times sake, here we are...

Yes, this was "chicken goujons, smiley potato faces, peas and...and...TOMATO SAUCE" for dinner...

I'll bet you would never have guessed about the sauce, would you ??!

Sledging

once again...snow...

You'd think it would just give up, but no, here's another day when there was some of the cold white stuff around...

Anyway, we chose to make the most of the, oooh I don't know, 5mm of snow?

Yes, off we went to the world famous "sledging hill" inside Wyndley Gate in Sutton Park!

And to really reclaim my mis-spent youth, I got the 30 year old sledge from my moms' house and pressed it back into service...ahh, they don't make them like that anymore...

Here's me and Alex on the sledge...and also here's Christian showing his mom how to get on and stay on...

More snow...

Yes, indeed, more snow...

Christian was still adamant that it was possible to mow the lawn, I did tell him...almost....well, it did need a trim!

Alex was happy making "snow castles"...re-imagining all those warm sunny days at the beach he's never had!

Snow Day!

Right, now...we had some snow, and the boys decided they wanted to go out and play in it.

I am not so sure they liked the games I came up with: one was clearing the patio of snow using only a small plastic spade and a beach bucket. The other was sweeping the snow off Daddy's lawn.

I can't be sure, but I think the lads were not keen...

Little Monkeys!

Alex and Chris were invited to a party. It wasn't just any old party, it was the Triplets party!

Yes, you read it right, the twins were invited to the triplets party. Ho hum, some people just have to "get one up on the Joneses".

Anyway, at the party there was a face painter, and the lads both wanted to be painted to look like monkeys. I told the lady that as they were already monkeys, she just needed to do the best she could...and this is what she did
