Twins meet more...err...cousins

Christian meets Lauren (on the left) and Alex meets Nicole (on the right)...
Twins Meet Cousins

Jamie, one of the twins cousins, was happy to be able to hold little Christian...we're not so sure that Christian was happy to be held by her though ;-)

Alex meets Charlie - another one of the 6 female cousins they now have...
Twins Come Home

Maxine's iron count was high enough for her to be discharged from hospital, and bring the twins to their new home...

I'm Gonna Get You, Sucker!

Alex was SO hungry, he started to suck Chris's bonce...it left a rather fetching Gorbachov-style red mark...
See the movie here (must have sound!)
Another day...

Little Alex with his "id" card...

Little Chris with his "id" card

My brother, Andrew, meets Chris

Alex has yet another nap...probably dreaming about boobs again...

Two days old...

Max gets to grips with winding a whiny baby ;-)

This is my mom...she's as pleased as punch with her new grandsons...

Yes, I managed to get someone to take a picture of me and little Chris...
Just One Day Old!

(Mom and baby Alex)
As you can see, despite being so pale, Max was a very happy mom!

(Alex on left, Chris on right)
We kept them together in one baby-aquarium for a while...well, they'd been together for 9 months already ;-)

...then we put them in their own "boxes"...

The Birth...10.30pm on 23rd June 2006

...How daft do I look in this getup??!
Yes, this was just moments before the nurse came and said I couldn't be in with Max as they needed to put her under a general anaesthetic.
:(

Okay, so forgetting that I couldn't be in with Max while this pair was born, how happy was I that they and Max came through ok??!
In this picture, Alexander is on the left, asleep, and Christian is on the right...wide awake...
Alex was born at 10.30pm and weighed 6lb 9oz and Chris was born at 10.31pm and weighed 6lb 7oz!

...and she REALLY was pale...can you see how it's hard to tell the difference between her and the bed linen?
Seriously: she was not well...she had lost 2pints of blood - now correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the human body only hold 9??
