Playing with the shoes
Despite my best efforts to stop them, the lads wanted nothing more than to play with their new shoes...I tried to explain to them that they where for WEARING, but you know how it is...
First Shoes!
...in baby shoes! Christians are on the left and are proper walking shoes. Alexs are on the right and are "cruising" shoes. So, expect to see him up on Broad Street, late at night, accompanied by loud music!
Alex, in his Cruisin' Shoes
Here's Alex in his new shoes, he's not altogether that fussed about them to be honest. Though he is fascinated with the idea of trying to get them OFF! They have velcro, that wonder of the modern age, and it's far to easy for him to undo that. A plastic zip-tag might have been better!
Okay, NOT the best picture of Christian, with his eyes closed and so on, but believe me, the mood he was in - this is the best I was going to get!
Maybe it was the new shoes that upset him, who knows.
Either way, it took him only a couple of minutes to learn to walk in these clumsy new foot ornaments...
Summer Clothes
Neither Max nor I are sure why Christian was crying here. All we wanted was a picture of him with his mom while he was wearing nice clothes...I mean, it wasn't like it was going to hurt or anything!
Alex sits comfortably on my knee for a picture. I think he's a born poser! I on the other hand look like a scruffy herbert!

Chris and Maxine
This was taken at a 1st birthday party where the lads had been eating, drinking and playing themselves out of steam. Chris needed a quick 5 minute recharge before his batteries were full enough to carry on...
Alex in a cage
After playing with his cousins rabbits, I think Alex secretly liked the idea of being all safe and cosy behind bars. Three meals a day, water and all the hay you can eat...very appealing.
Yummy Spaghetti
Chris really got into his spaghetti...and by "into" I mean INTO. He had his hands in the sauce and was packing it into his mouth like a good 'un...here you can see the after-effects.
Jack - err - Chris In a Box!
Here you can see Chris has decided to get right in the toy box. I don't know if he was looking for something or if this was just a new place to get into! Either way, he seems happy enough!
